Vengeful Kitty

So you think that this kitty of my parents' looks so cute & peaceful, especially when he's sleeping:

Even looks like he has a bit of personality (definitely does):

And is probably full of curiosity (yep there too) & possibly a bit mischievious (uh huh):

Well you can also add vengeful to that list. Every once in a while he has to get me back for waking him up to play during the day or evening. The other night he got up on my bed about once every hour; and if the heft of his 14 pounds landing on my feet wasn't already enough to wake me up, he then walked over me all the way to my head where he'd stop and meow directly into my ear. He would then leave but would come back after I had fallen back to sleep. I bought him a catnip mouse & he hasn't woken me up too much since - nothing like bribing the cat!

November in NS

While I'm on a photo kick, here are some backlogged ones from November - back when the weather fluctuated like crazy (um, kinda like this month!).

Before the snow flew:

Why we couldn't make it to the Remembrance Day service:

Bird watching:

Evening Grosbeaks and Blue Jays feeding up during a Nor'easter.

Downy woodpecker. White breasted nuthatch pounding the crap out of a sunflower seed & a junco just hanging out.

The bird's watch us too!

Back in TO photoblog (AKA hmm, long time no post, part II)

And here they are, photos from my trip to TO in December - I seem to have forgotten to take pix in Ottawa. And why does it take me soooo long to post photos these days? Well, I have about 4000 pix in my iPhoto library now and it takes FOREVER to open and close the programme, and it slows down my entire computer. I really need more RAM...first thing to buy when I get a job!
